We realised that newly-qualified hairdressers and beauticians struggled to adapt to life outside of a classroom setting as they had no experience of working in real-life salon situations.
In founding RJL Education, our founder Ruby designed her courses to be intensive but extremely informative in all aspects of the profession: practical, theoretical, and real-life scenarios – all in a fraction of the time of the traditional way of learning.
Every tutor at RJL has been hand-picked by Ruby to take advantage of their many years of experience in both a salon and education environment, to give you that precious real-world scenario experience. Ruby has also partnered with globally recognised brands and their learning platforms, to provide you with everything you need to succeed in your chosen profession.

Our unique intensive training courses teach you all the necessary skills that you need to succeed in a much shorter time frame than anywhere else. Our compulsory extra modules also provide our learners with unique business, client consultation and social media lessons that will help you once you qualify.

At our education centre, we have a range of beautifully decorated one, two and three-bedroom apartments located on the first floor. Each apartment is finished to a high specification and includes a wide range of amenities.
Our one-bedroom apartments feature a luxury kitchen, Wi-Fi, a lounge/dining area, a TV and a full-scale bathroom. Our two and three-bedroom apartments feature a shared kitchen, Wi-Fi, a lounge/dining area, a TV, one en-suite bedroom and one main bathroom with a bath, all finished to a beautiful standard. Useful amenities are also provided in all apartments, including towels, bedding and kitchen appliances.
Your safety is our top priority during your stay in our luxury apartment accommodation. The entrance to our apartments is equipped with a high-security coding system to help you feel safe and secure, and all bedrooms in our two and three-bedroom apartments have lockable doors to ensure total privacy.
Our apartments are conveniently located near amenities and public transport links. There’s a bus stop and an Asda right outside the building, and for those commuting from afar, Bolton train station is within walking distance.
Our apartments are available to rent from 1 night to 23 weeks, making them ideal for both our fast-track and longer courses.

We have also secured huge discounts with Bolton’s biggest corporate hotel ‘Holiday Inn Bolton Centre’, an IHG hotel. The hotel is situated only 1.2 miles from our education centre, which is a 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive away. Please contact us privately to receive your discount codes.
The well-appointed rooms include private bathrooms with showers, complimentary wireless Internet access, desks, phones, comfortable beds, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers and complimentary newspapers. You can also expect a wide range of fantastic amenities, including 24-hour room service, dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, a complimentary fitness centre and free self parking onsite.
At Holiday Inn Bolton Centre, you’ll also find plenty of options for food and drink. The hotel’s restaurant and bar are available throughout the day and evening, and in the mornings, you can take advantage of a delicious continental breakfast between 6:30AM and 9:30AM.
The hotel is within walking distance of Bolton town centre, where you can find an array of restaurants, bars and shops. Plus, there are excellent motorway links to the M6, M60, M61 and M62 motorways.
