I qualified for my level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing with RJL Education this year. I started at the beginning of February and qualified in July, and I loved every minute of my training. I learned more than I could have ever imagined and found friends for life.
I travelled from Liverpool to RJL, which took me around an hour each day but I wouldn’t train with anyone else as they are the best in the business!
RJL exceeded my expectations in every way, from my tutor, Danielle who was the most amazing, patient and talented teacher to the students who supported me throughout my journey. Everyone was so welcoming and have become my hairdressing family.
I enjoyed everything about the course, from learning the basics to even covering some level 3 correction work in such a short space of time. I enjoy learning hands on and I was doing real life models in my second week of training.
I came across some challenges during the course especially when it came to confidence cutting hair however Danielle didn’t let my confidence get the better of me and supported me through out, always showing me as many times as I needed until I got it perfect. Now I love cutting hair.
During my training I secured a job in a salon in Liverpool, which I am now working in and loving every minute. Again Danielle and Ruby were so happy and supportive of this and helped me in every way. I am currently working along side a very talented hairdresser in the week and working for my self styling hair on a Friday and Saturday which I have been fully booked since I started. Which I could only have dreamed of when I began my training.
I couldn’t recommend training with RJL enough, I tell everyone how amazing it is and how much I miss not going every day. The training isnt only unmatched so are the tutors and students and the level of work each one produces.
I would stay in RJL forever if I could, and I would 100% come back for further training in the future. Thank you for making me the hairdresser I am and believing in me.
